Greg Schmidli, MSW, LAC
Greg has a Masters Degree in Social Work
from University of Denver, and is also a Colorado Licensed Addiction Counselor.
Additionally, he trained at the Denver Family
Institute as a Marriage and Family Therapist. He has been working in the
addiction field since 1991 when he began working with the homeless in
downtown Denver. He has
worked with both non-medical and medical detoxification patients. He has
a solid understanding of the risks and process of addiction and recovery.
Moreover, he has
been trained in relapse prevention by Terrance Gorski, and is a Colorado
Approved Domestic Violence Provider. Greg entered private practice in
1996 and works with a variety of groups including men's domestic violence,
DUI, addiction recovery, medical professionals and individuals and couples.
Dawn Adkins Schmidli M.Ed., LPC
Dawn has been in the mental health field
for over 20 years. She has a Masters Degree in Professional Counseling
from Oklahoma City University. Some of her experience includes counseling
adolescents in a residential setting, working with social services families
and children, and providing both group and individual psychotherapy to
adults in an inpatient psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital. Dawn
has been in private practice since 1996. As a Colorado approved domestic
violence treatment provider she has worked extensively with female victims
and perpetrators of domestic violence. Additionally, she is trained as
an experiential therapist and uses those skills in her group therapy settings.
